For driving in the snow these are the best tires you can get (in my experience). Going uphill or downhill in the slippy conditions of ice and snow you have massive amounts of control with these Blizzack WS80 tires. I have them fitted to both of my Scion XDs. I can’t really comment on the comfort of these as they were fitted with the intention of having the best control and stopping power. So far they have lasted 50k miles from driving all year round with them.

Good Quality Winter Tires
This Blizzak WS80 has got to be the best winter tires I have ever used. So far I have traveled over 30,000km on these tires fitted to my (newish) Subaru Forester. During that time there has not been any terrain that my trusty Subarus has been unable to climb. I have had the car buried in snow and it has just crawled straight out of it. These are noisy tires but they won’t let you down. They also seem to have little effect on fuel economy too.
