Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV-4X4 Reviews
Currently Fitted To My BMW X5
So far I have driven on these tires for just over 1,000 miles and so will be basing my review on that time.
Before I fitted these Eagle’s I wanted to fit Pirelli P Zero run-flats but couldn’t find any that fitted my X5. I was recommended these Goodyear Eagle F1 AsymmetricSUV tires instead. Luckily Goodyear in Saudi Arabia had just 4 of these left and were cheaper than the Pirellis. Straight away I notice massive difference to the car and I thought the Pirellis I had on were before were great but these changed my mind. On wet road these are not amazing with less feedback but in dry they really make up for it.
Good for short time
These Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres were good for the short time (just over 12000 miles) I had them fitted to my VW Touareg TDI. I removed them when I noticed that the rubber was flaking away from the side of the tyes. VW blamed Goodyear and Goodyear said that it was a balancing problem and had nothing to do with them. The front tyres had the flaking but rear tyes did not.
