These Defender LTX MS tyres I have fitted to my Sportage are the second set. They have traveled 180000 in total and I couldn’t have been happier with them. Ona nd off road in Australia has really tested them out and they have performed well as SUV tyres.
Not worth it
I was surprised by how these responded in the wet, they just seemed to slide along around a roundabout. In the dry they perform well but then what tires don’t? I even tried lowering the pressures by a few PSI to see if that helped and it did a little. When the tires lose grip they seem to really lose grip though and it can be a bit scary. The next tires I moved on to (Pirelli) were a breath of fresh air and totally different.
Allround
these Defenders have to be the best allround tire for SUV that is not winter only tire
