Loud but worth it

I don’t really care if they are as loud as they are because they grip amazing

Expensive but a great tyre

We all know that Michelin tyres are the reliable option and that these Pilot Sport 4’s are the choice for those taking their cars onto the track. These tires aren’t just great for the track though, they perform amazingly when transporting the family around and for business. The major downside I found is that they don’t last as long as I had hoped. After 40,000km I found myself having to change these tyres again. A payoff I found myself having to do was cope with a decrease of 10% in fuel economy due to the added grip. This is fine for me but worth mentioning for others reading this review.

Fitted to Merc GLC

These Pilot Sports were the first set of tires I fitted to my Mercedes GLC a few months after I bought it. Before that I had Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT tires fitted after one of them got a bolt stuck into it.

These PS4 SUVs provided much more comfort than before and the responsiveness when driving was incredible. Going around corners felt a lot safer with these new tires and braking felt a whole lot better.

The Pilot Sport 4 SUVs really came into their own when the heavens opened and drenched the roads in massive puddles. Before these tires I would aquaplane but now these new tires barely skipped a beat, very impressive! I was pushing them as well to see for myself whether they were worth paying the money for.

Price-wise they are very expensive but from my own experiences you get what you pay for with these.

Not really worth it

These are at the top end of the pricing for these sorts of tires and in my opinion not really worth it. I have had tires better than this fitted to my CR-V that cost half as much.
