So far I have had these Pilot SS tires fitted to my Mazda Miata 2 years and they have been outstanding. They have performed equally well during the summer, autumn and winter months. The only downside is that if you push them a little too hard they can kick out with not much warning on the limit and be a bit scary. They also perform a lot better once warm…. do not push them when cold!!!!
Done over 10k miles with these Super Sports
if this is the “top” of the tyres then I feel let-down. I had constant slip on my BMW when these were fitted (as standard) and have since moved over to Goodyears. They perform fine on normal driving but if I put my foot down and go round a bend it will almost certainly kick out and cause traction control to step in (for clarity these tyres have done more than 10k miles now)
Lost a bit of grip
Lost grip after losing like 5mm of tread
Low noise
Good in wet weather conditions
best in class
these are not the first tyres i have tried on this car . you get what you pay for and these are the best
from now on im only putting Michelin pilot super sport on my cars
