Long lasting expensive tires

Rated 5 out of 5

If you want a good set of tires for your car then these Primacy Asymmetrics from Michelin are a great buy. I have had them fitted to my Kia Forte for 2 years now and highly recommend it. They are quiet, comfortable and corner really well. The only issue I have had with them is when cruising on the highway and being hit by crosswinds that have pushed me slightly off course.

Hardly quiet at all

Bought these on the basis that they were quiet tyres and that they were described as “premium”. The 70db rating goes out of the window when you go past the first few millimeters of tread on anything other than a freshly laid smooth tarmac road.

Not good value

I was impressed by the comfort and the grip when driving VW Transporter on these Primacy tyres but found they did not last long enough. I had them replaced at less than 25,000km and won’t be buying a Michelin tyre again.
